HARRISONBURG VA:  (WSVA) – Farm Credit of the Virginias has pledged a Christmas donation of more than 13-thousand dollars divided among their more than two dozen charities local to their 96-county territory in Virginia, West Virginia and western Maryland.

The annual holiday donation is made on behalf of the Association’s valued customer-owners and business affiliates.

Among those charitable organizations receiving a Christmas donation include: Hope Distributed in Rockingham County, the Verona Community Food Pantry and Toys for Happiness in Moorefield, West Virginia.

Brad Cornelius, C-E-Officer of Farm Credit of the Virginias, stated in a release that the association is proud to support these organizations that strengthen the rural communities they serve.
