WAYNESBORO VA: (WSVA) – The Waynesboro man accused of shooting and killing another man’s service dog in September will go before a grand jury in the new year.
During an appearance in Augusta County General District Court last week, Louis Edward Davis Junior was reportedly scheduled for a grand jury hearing on January 22nd.
Augusta County authorities accused Davis of shooting and killing the dog on Mormon Gap Road near Waynesboro on September 15th.
The 67-year-old Davis was arrested the next day. He faces two charges, including felony torturing or maiming of an animal.
