LURAY, VA (Rocktown Now) — Luray fire officials are trying to find out what caused a major fire early Thursday morning at Yogi Bear Campground.

Officials stated that the call came in at around 2:45am and when crews arrived on scene, they found the building that houses the arcade and snack shop fully engulfed in flames.

It took firefighters several hours to extinguish the flames but not before the building was deemed a total loss.

No injuries were reported and the cause remains under investigation.

The Luray Fire Department was assisted by Stanley and Shenandoah Fire Departments, and Page County EMS.
