HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — Virginia Fresh Match’s Summer SNAP Special will be held starting July 5 through July 11.

According to a release, Farmers Market shoppers can double their SNAP Matching benefits. Usually, shoppers get a 1:1 match, but the special is a 2:1 match. Spend $10, get $20 towards free fruits and vegetables. 

Participating grocery outlets are offering 75% off fresh fruits and vegetables. 

The Harrisonburg Farmers Market is open Tuesday and Saturday from 8 am to 1 pm during the week of the special.
