HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — The proposed six-story apartment complex in Harrisonburg is being sent back to the Harrisonburg Planning Commission for a third time.
Deputy City Attorney Wesley Russ explained during this week’s City Council meeting that the applicant for “The Link” has revised its agreements under which the project would be built.
“Under city code, when proffers are modified beyond the scope of what was considered at Planning Commission’s public hearing, the application goes back to Planning Commission for a new public hearing before City Council can act on it,” said Russ.
The proposal will be on the agenda for the Planning Commission’s July 8, 2026, meeting and could be again before city council sometime in August.
