STAUNTON, Va. — Folks in the Queen City can expect road closures this evening as this year’s Staunton Christmas Parade winds its way through the streets.

The parade officially rolls off the line at 7 o’clock tonight, with preshow festivities and ceremonies kicking off at 6:15.

The city says it will all start with a ribbon cutting at the corner of Frederick and New Streets downtown.

The Staunton Downtown Development Association says “A Cozy Christmas” is the theme of this year’s parade.
