SHENANDOAH COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — Shenandoah County school officials have announced that Brian Kibler will be the new Athletic Director at Central High School, effective July 1, 2026.

His appointment was approved by the School Board during a meeting earlier this month.

Kibler spent the last year as assistant as Assistant Coordinator of Student Activities at Sherando High School. He was also previously a wrestling coach and assistant football coach.

Kibler takes over for Carey Keyes, who stepped down to take the same position at East Rockingham High School where he once served as boys’ basketball coach.
