HARRISONBURG VA: (Rocktown Now) – Gusty southwest winds will increase the threat of wildfires around the Shenandoah Valley today. A storm building over the Great Lakes will track towards the area by tomorrow, bringing the possibility for some much-needed rainfall starting tonight and continuing into Thursday. Temperatures will remain mild into Wednesday before a cold front drops temperatures starting Thursday. How much rain will we receive? Good question. Current computer models are showing anywhere from a half inch to over an inch. One thing is certain, whatever we get will certainly be welcomed!
