HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — One of the three people who was arrested in Harrisonburg as part of large-scale financial crime ring has found out her fate.
According to online records, Kristen Breen was found guilty of two misdemeanor charges during a hearing Tuesday in general district court. She was sentenced to two years in jail with all, but two months suspended.
Meanwhile, Timothy Capelle had a preliminary hearing on Tuesday for his role and four of his charges were certified to a circuit court grand jury. That includes three counts of misdemeanor identity theft.
The third member of the trio, Elizabeth Tweedy was indicted by a grand jury last week on two charges, including felony drug possession. She is scheduled to enter a plea in the case on April 9th.
All three were arrested in December in the parking lot of Home Depot in Harrisonburg.
They are believed to be involved with the Felony Lane Gang, which is a nationwide criminal organization.
