The Waynesboro man who is accused of shooting and killing another man’s service last week has had his initial court hearing continued for a second straight day.

Louis Edward Davis Junior was scheduled to appear in Augusta County General District Court.

However, online records show that the hearing was rescheduled for December 5th.

The 67-year-old Davis faces two charges, including felony torturing or maiming of an animal, after he was arrested last Saturday following an investigation into the death of a dog who had been shot last Friday morning.
