SHENANDOAH COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — UPDATE (3/18/26): Andrew Bradley Shoemaker of Woodstock, VA has been arrested according to an online post by the Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office.
According to the report, on March 15, 2026, a disabled vehicle was located in the area of Bob Sikes Blvd, in Okaloosa, FL.
A further investigation was conducted, and the vehicle was identified to be registered to 26-year-old Andrew Bradley Shoemaker of Toms Brook, VA. During the investigation, a firearm was recovered, that had been stolen out of Woodstock, VA.
Shoemaker was arrested and charged with:
Two (2) counts of 18.2-60: Threats in Writing
Two (2) counts of 18.2-12: Violating a Protective Order
18.2-95: Grand Larceny
18.2-57: Assault
46.2-894: Hit and Run
46.2-854: Reckless Driving
Shoemaker was also wanted by the Virginia State Police for failure to update a sex offender registry.
Shoemaker is currently being held at the Okaloosa County Department of Corrections and is awaiting extradition back to Virginia.

Andrew Bradley Shoemaker of Woodstock, VA is wanted by the Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office for Two Felony Warrants – Threats to kill or bodily injury to a family member, Two Misdemeanor Warrants – Violation of a Preliminary Protective Order, and is wanted for Probation Violation out of Winchester, VA – Sex Offender Fail to Update Registry Address.
