ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — A former Rockingham County resident, who was a part of Winsome Earle-Sears’ gubernatorial campaign last year, was arrested last weekend in Virginia Beach for abduction and multiple assault charges.
William Cole Trower faces four charges, including three counts of assault and battery.
According to online records, he was taken into custody on Sunday in connection with an incident on February 8th.
The 33-year-old Trower has a preliminary hearing on May 7th in Virginia Beach General District Court, and he is being represented by former delegate Tim Anderson. He is currently free on bond.
Incidentally, Trower was arrested on an assault charge by Harrisonburg Police following an incident on Arrowwood Drive back on October 31st of 2014.
