ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — Rockingham County Clerk of Court Chaz Haywood announced a National Vietnam War Veterans Day Monument and Flag Dedication Ceremony on Sunday, March 29 at 2:00 p.m. at the Rockingham County Courthouse.
According to an online post, the ceremony will include the unveiling of an updated monument and dedication of the new flagpole.
“This event will honor the service and sacrifice of those who served during the Vietnam War and remember local veterans who were killed in action,” said Haywood.
Chaz Haywood has also provided information for the additional names being added to the memorial.
