WAYNESBORO, VA (Rocktown Now) — The Waynesboro woman charged following a fatal crash earlier this year will spend at least a dozen years in prison.
According to online records, Brianca Elaine Estes was sentenced Monday in Waynesboro Circuit Court.
The 32-year-old Estes pleaded guilty to five charges back in August after reaching a plea deal with prosecutors.
Among the charges Estes admitted to, include three counts of driving while intoxicated causing serious injury.
She was arrested after a fatal two-vehicle crash on February 25th at the intersection of Hopeman Parkway and Evershire Street.
The accident claimed the life of 31-year-old Brittany Jean Comer, also of Waynesboro.
