FISHERSVILLE VA: (Rocktown Now) – On this episode of In the Garden with Andre Viette, Andre continues the discussion of cut Christmas trees and how to keep them looking great for the whole holiday season. Andre also shared his Christmas Tree Formula. Here’s the formula to keep you tree fresh.

Andre Viette’s Christmas Tree Formula
1 gallon of hot tap water
1 cup light Karo syrup
Bleach – If regular bleach, use 2 tablespoons. If using a stronger (professional) type bleach, only use 1 tablespoon
1/2 teaspoon of Epsom Salt
Pour in the tree stand.
Don’t let your tree go dry, check it every day, at least for the first week.
