LURAY, Va. — An update in the case of a stolen piece of heavy garage equipment in Page County last Friday:

We reported that the sheriff’s office was investigating the theft of a boat trailer and a rotary car lift that was on the trailer from the Kimball Road area.

Sheriff Chad Cubbage said the boat trailer was recovered later in the day, but the rotary lift remains missing.

Now, the owner of that lift is offering a thousand-dollar reward for information leading to the return of the equipment and the arrest of those responsible.
