TIMBERVILLE, VA (Rocktown Now) — A Timberville man who allegedly brandished a machete earlier this year in Shenandoah County has escaped jail time.
According to online records, Paul Lucas McIntosh pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct during a hearing today, November 21, 2025, in general district court.
As part of the deal, McIntosh was sentenced to a month in jail with all of it suspended. He was also sentenced to a year of unsupervised probation.
He was originally charged with brandishing a machete following an incident on August 1, 2025.
Authorities said he did that because a woman apparently owed him money and was using to intimidate her.
