HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) – Burger King on South Main Street in Harrisonburg held a ribbon cutting ceremony Monday morning to kick off a celebration of the location’s new look.
District Manager Tracy Meadows said she wanted to turn excitement over the completion of restaurant’s major renovations into a chance to give back to the community.
“This has been a long time coming,” Meadows said. “This was one of our oldest buildings that we had in the area. It still had that standard old blue roof from eons ago, so we’re all very excited to get this fresh, new look.”
Meadows added that the building isn’t the only thing that has improved on the road to today’s unveiling.
“Our teams have endured some extensive training during the downtime process, so that we can provide better service for our community.”
The grand re-opening continues all day with fun for the whole family, including games, giveaways, and a bounce house that will be onsite until 8 tonight.
Burger King is located on South Main Street near Dukes Plaza.
