HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — Big Brothers Big Sisters of Harrisonburg-Rockingham County will hold their 2nd annual ‘Flannels for the Future’ fundraiser on Wednesday, October 22, at ‘The Tavern’ in The Offices at 31 N. Federal St. in Downtown Harrisonburg from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.

For just $50 (or $90 for two), patrons of the event will have a BBQ buffet, drinks (1 complementary ticket), networking, live music, a silent auction, and axe-throwing for prizes. There will be a program highlighting YTD services, sponsors, and plans for the future.

According to a release, all funds raised will go directly towards creating and supporting one-to-one mentoring matches for local youth.
