Another delay in the case of a Rockingham County man accused of having a knife while on the grounds of Shenandoah Elementary School.
According to online records, Thomas Benjamin Loving of McGaheysville was scheduled to have a preliminary hearing yesterday in Page County General District Court.
However, it was continued for again until August 3rd.
The 46-year-old Loving faces a charge of possession of a knife on school property, which is a class 1 misdemeanor.
He was arrested on March 30th after the school went into lockdown mode following a report that a man possibly armed with a gun was in the vicinity.
While no gun was ever present, Loving allegedly possessed a knife. He is currently free on bond.
