Average gasoline prices in Virginia fell nearly six cents per gallon in the last week and begin the new work week averaging $3.48 a gallon.
That is according to GasBuddy’s survey of nearly 41-hundred stations in the commonwealth.
Prices across the state are 18 cents per gallon higher than a month ago but still stand 48 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.
In Harrisonburg, most stations are selling gas for 3:49 a gallon.
Believe it or not, there are still some stations in Virginia selling gas for under three dollars a gallon.
The national average price of diesel has fallen 3.0 cents in the last week and stands at $4.12 per gallon.
