WAYNESBORO, VA (Rocktown Now) — Waynesboro Public Schools will offer free meals to all students for the 2025-2026 school year.

According to a release, all WPS students are eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at school at no cost each day of the school year beginning August 6th.

Students will be able to participate in this free meal program without having to submit a meal application or pay for meals.

However, school officials emphasize that students will need their ID number and cash, or funds on their account to purchase additional items like drinks, snacks, and ice cream.
