STAUNTON, Va – For the second time in less than a week, a vehicle has rolled into an area building.
Shortly after noon (Tuesday, a vehicle rolled into Curry’s Kitchen CookD Potato Chips in the 17-hundred block of West Beverly Street in Staunton.
Fire and Rescue officials report that the driver put the vehicle into gear by accident causing it to run into the structure, which resulted in minor damage. No injuries were reported.
Last Friday, a driver failed to put his vehicle in park, which resulted in that vehicle rolling down the hill and smashing into Shenandoah Bicycle Company in downtown Harrisonburg.
While that mishap caused significant damage to the building and to several bikes that were on display, nobody was hurt.
