HARRISONBURG, Va. – The Harrisonburg Fire Department has extinguished a large blaze that broke out this morning on South High Street.

Chief Matt Tobia tweeted around 3 o’clock that crews responded to reports of a large shed and wooden pallets burning in the 900 block of the street, near Kenco Trucks and Equipment.

Just after 6 o’clock, Tobia said the scene had been cleared and all nearby roads have reopened to traffic.

He added that a damage estimate has not been calculated, and an investigation is underway.
