HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) – Sheetz has opened up its latest gas station and convenience store north of Harrisonburg.
To help celebrate, they are offering a free beverage throughout the day and discounted gas prices up to 25-cents off, per gallon, until midnight.
This event consisted of multiple prizes, gift cards, free coffee or soda, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony held this morning. Customers were encouraged to bring non-perishable food(s) to enter a contest but ultimately to donate to the non-profit.

Communications Specialist Reid Brinkoff said with last month’s opening of Sheetz in Mount Crawford, Altoona, and now this location, the store continues to saturate the Interstate-81 corridor.
“What’s convenient for one person may not be convenient for others,” said Brinkoff.
The new Sheetz is located on 54 Valley Ranger Road in Harrisonburg, off Exit 251.
