The No. 9 nationally ranked Bridgewater College baseball team made noise at the ODAC finals round in the first game of the double-elimination four-team field against top-seed Lynchburg with a 14-inning victory Thursday at Capital One Park by a final score of 4-3.

No. 3 seed Texas State softball rallied from a 2-0 deficit with a five-run bottom of the sixth to move past sixth-seeded James Madison, 5-2, in Thursday’s Quarterfinal of the 2026 Sun Belt Championship at Yvette Girouard Field at Lamson Park.
