First grade teacher, Karen Grady, at Ware Elementary School in Staunton has been named Teacher of the Year for Region 5.

Natasha McCurdy had a plea hearing schedule for this week in Staunton Circuit Court, but online records indicate that the hearing was continued again at the request of her attorneys.
