ABINGDON, VA (Rocktown Now) — The Turner-Ashby Knights won against the Kettle Run Cougars on Friday afternoon in Abingdon. The final score was 20-5.

It was a very offensive 4th inning for the Knights as they sent 19 batters to the plate. The first 13 reached, it was 15 runs on 7 hits, and the Knights blew the game open. In the bottom of the 4th inning that saw Kettle Run send 5 pitchers to the mound.

Turner-Ashby Knights advance to the state championship tomorrow.
