AUGUSTA COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — The Staunton man who was arrested in July following a domestic disturbance will appear before a grand jury.
According to online records, Malik McKenzie had three of the four charges he faces certified to a grand jury during an adjudicatory hearing this week in Waynesboro Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court.
Among those charges include producing child pornography and assault and battery of a family member.
When officers arrived, they found out that the woman had successfully exited the vehicle and was with a witness.
After investigators interviewed the victim and the suspect, the 22-year-old McKenzie was then taken into custody.
