WAYNESBORO, VA (Rocktown Now) — The music of Marvin Gaye and the Motown era will take center stage at the historic Wayne Theatre in Downtown Waynesboro when LET’S GET IT ON! A Night with Jackie’s Boy comes to the Wayne on October 3, 2026, at 7:30 p.m.

Headlined by Grammy Award-winning songwriter, recording artist, and performer Jackie’s Boy, this concert celebrates the songs of Marvin Gaye while paying tribute to the artists and music that defined the Motown sound.

Jackie’s Boy has reportedly built an impressive career as both a performer and one of the music industry’s most accomplished songwriters. His songwriting credits include hits recorded by Flo Rida, Madonna, Chris Brown, Sean Kingston, Justin Bieber, Johnny Gill, Charlie Wilson, and many other internationally recognized artists.

His work on Madonna’s “Revolver (Remix)” earned a Grammy Award for Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical.
