HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — The annual James Madison University “Block Party in the ‘Burg” returns to downtown Harrisonburg tomorrow, August 29.

Emily Winter with Harrisonburg Downtown Renaissance says that the annual event welcomes incoming and returning JMU students.

“It’s open to the public. There’s a lot of JMU swag and the Marching Royal Dukes are going to be downtown which is always a fun sight to see. There’s free kid activities as well,” Winter said.

The event runs from two until four and there will be road closures in the downtown area.
