HARRISOBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — Two Harrisonburg-area UVA Health pediatrics clinics are merging and moving to a larger location this fall with expanded hours.
According to UVA officials, Pediatrics Harrisonburg and Pediatrics Harrisonburg McGaheysville will merge at 4165 Quarles Court in Harrisonburg on August 31.
“We are excited to combine these two clinics and bring them to a modern, newly renovated facility that is designed to be patient-friendly, accessible and thoughtfully expanded to support the growing demand for care and enhance the patient experience, demonstrating our commitment to providing pediatric and specialty care to the community,” said Becky Compton, DNP, FNP-BC, MBA, UVA Physicians Group’s chief operating officer.
Services include:
- well-child checkups
- adolescent checkups
- sports, camp and college physicals
- immunizations
- acne treatment
- same-day visits for sudden illnesses and injuries
- treatments for chronic illnesses
- mental health services
The clinic will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday.
