HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — Anicira is partnering with Massanutten Regional Library for Tales & Tails, on Saturday, August 22, at 10 AM for a morning of animal stories, imagination, and veterinary fun. Children are invited to bring their favorite stuffed animal, whether it has four legs, two wings, for its very own pretend checkup.

The morning is geared especially toward children ages birth to 5, but all ages are welcome. Families can expect stories, smiles and plenty of adorable “patients” as Anicira’s veterinary team introduces young animal lovers to what happens at the vet in a way that is anything but intimidating.

The event follows the success of a previous Tales and Tails program, where stuffed-animal patients filled the library and young attendees got an up-close look at veterinary care through play. Learn more about last year’s event, here.
