ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — Rockingham County Schools Superintendent Dr. Larry Shifflett highlighted October as National Principals Month during last night’s school board meeting. 

Dr. Shifflett thanked Rockingham County Principals and Assistant Principals and said that this is a time to celebrate the work they do in the school community. 

“They help build and sustain the culture for the work that’s done, that’s accomplished in our schools,” said Dr. Shifflett.

Dr. Shifflett continued by saying their leadership fosters growth and creates the foundation where student learning and development thrives.
