HARRISONBURG VA:(Rocktown Now) – Some much needed rainfall could be moving over the Shenandoah Valley tonight into Wednesday, as a strong cold fronts comes through. Ahead of the front, temperatures will reach the low eighties today. Behind the front, temperatures will be in the sixties from Wednesday into the upcoming weekend. How much rainfall will we see? Current estimates are between a quarter and a half inch, although that could vary depending on if we see mainly showers or if some thunderstorms accompany the front, and possibily bring heavy downpours in some areas. Sunshine and cool temperatures for the end of the week. Overnight lows, especially Thursday night, may drop into the 30’s.
