HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) – Court Square Theater features seven 2025 titles during “Wednesdays at the Movies!” in October, along with a Monday evening Middle East travelogue and Halloween screening of Rocky Horror Picture Show.

In addition to seven 2025 releases during “Wednesdays at the Movies!”, CST will also screen a 2014 travelogue, The Promised Land: Adventures in the Middle East on Monday October 27 (7 pm), with cinematographer, writer, editor and director Rick Ray on-hand for an in-person introduction. Then, on Friday, October 31 (7:30 pm), Rocky Horror Picture Show returns to CST.

Wednesdays at the Movies! selections for October are:

  • I Know Catherine, the Log Lady (2025, Not Rated, 109 minutes) – An authorized feature documentary about Catherine E. Coulson, best known as the Log Lady in David Lynch & Mark Frost’s Twin Peaks. Oct 1 at 2 pm.
  • Sorry, Baby (2025, R, 104 minutes) – Something bad happened to Agnes. But life goes on… for everyone around her, at least. Oct 1 at 7 pm.
  • The Last Class (2025, Not Rated, 71 minutes) – American political economist, professor, author, and social media sensation Robert Reich teaches his final “Wealth and Poverty” class to 1,000 students at UC Berkeley, ending a 40-year career that reached 40,000 students with exhortations not to accept that the world has to stay the way it is. Oct 8 at 2 pm and Oct 15 at 7 pm.
  • Folktales (2025, Not Rated, 106 minutes) – On the precipice of adulthood, teenagers converge at a traditional folk high school in Arctic Norway. Dropped at the edge of the world, they must rely on only themselves, one another, and a loyal pack of sled dogs as they all grow in unexpected directions. Oct 8 at 7 pm, Oct 15 at 2 pm.
  • Eleanor the Great (2025, PG-13, 98 minutes) – Follows a 90-year-old woman trying to rebuild her life after the death of her best friend. As a result, she moves back to New York City after living in Florida for decades. Oct 22 at 2 pm.
  • The Baltimorons (2025, R, 99 minutes) – After cracking a tooth on Christmas Eve, newly sober Cliff embarks on an unexpected May/December adventure through Baltimore with Didi, his emergency dentist. Oct 22 at 7 pm and Oct 29 at 2 pm.
  • Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale (2025, PG, 124 minutes) – When Mary finds herself at the center of a public scandal and the family faces financial strife, the entire household grapples with the threat of social disgrace. The Crawleys must embrace change as the staff prepares for a new chapter with the next generation leading Downton Abbey into the future. Oct 29 at 7 pm.
