HARRISONBURG VA: (Rocktown Now) – Today, a frontal boundary is expected to stall across southwestern Virginia as high pressure builds southward from northern New England. This wedge of high pressure will persist over the Shenandoah Valley through Sunday, while a warm front is forecast to move across the Alleghenies between Monday and Tuesday. As this front interacts with an area of low pressure off the North Carolina coast, the region will see an increased chance of precipitation heading into the middle of next week.
