HARRISONBURG, Va. – After some rain pushed it back a day, the Royals welcomed #9 Randolph-Macon to campus on Sunday for its final ODAC home doubleheader.

The Yellow Jackets were able to head back to Ashland with a sweep, taking game one 13-5 before winning game two, 19-4.

EMU vs Randolph-Macon – Game One

Highlights
• The Yellow Jackets got on the board with a run in the first off West, scoring on a sac fly and taking a 1-0 lead. Nick Arnold picked up a two-out single in the Royals half of the first, but would stay there as a strikeout ended the frame.

• An big second broke the game open for RMC as they plated eight runs off West before Skylar Lacks came on to get the final out of the inning. Lacks would keep RMC off the board until a homerun in the fourth made it 10-0.

• EMU would get on the board in their half of the fifth. With two outs and a runner on first, Dylan Hall belted his first collegiate homerun over the left field fence, cutting the score to 11-2. Two homeruns in the sixth pushed the Yellow Jackets lead back to 11 but EMU pushed three across in the eighth and ninth as Natty Solomon picked up a two-RBI single and Drew Petitt singled in Aidan Miller in the ninth.

Highlights
• Four runs in the first inning gave RMC a 4-0 lead after one. Fulwood settled down and gave up just one run over the next two innings before he got in trouble again in the fourth and was replaced by Braydon Collier.

• With Macon ahead 10-0, EMU pushed across some runs in the sixth. Logan Mason led off with a double and Ethan Spraker reached base on an error. Arnold singled and, after an RMC error, both Mason and Spraker scored and Arnold ended up on second. Solomon followed that up with a base hit, plating Arnold and making the score 10-3. EMU would score another run in the eighth, as Alex Gulisano scored on a pair of Yellow Jacket errors.
