Marmaduke:Marmaduke (or “Duke”) is a big, affectionate hound mix with a goofy personality and a heart of gold. He’s crate-trained, sleeps quietly through the night, and absolutely loves being brushed. While he’s still learning to be gentle around toddlers, he’s made great progress with basic training and responds well to gentle correction. Duke walks nicely on a leash most of the time, though his hound instincts kick in when he sees small animals. He bonds quickly—especially with men—and would thrive in a home with adults or older children who can help him continue building confidence and structure. He’s food-motivated, eager to please, and is learning commands like “sit,” “easy,” “leave it,” “here” (heel), and “paw.” This sweet boy would be a loyal adventure buddy in an active home that understands hound energy and has the time to give him the love and guidance he deserves.
