HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — James Madison University students will begin moving into residence halls for the 2024-25 academic year this weekend.

The university said in a release they are anticipating approximately 5,000 new students and 774 transfer students are arriving between Friday and Sunday.

Folks in Harrisonburg should expect an increase in traffic in and around campus throughout the weekend and at the beginning of the semester.
