ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – The Rockingham County School Board could follow Shenandoah County’s lead regarding flags and décor in the school division.
The Rockingham County School Board has called for a work session Tuesday morning to discuss a proposed flag policy in the schools.
One of the provisions would be that only the US, Virginia, local and Armed Forces flags could be displayed on school grounds.
Shenandoah County implemented a similar policy earlier this month.
The meeting begins at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, July 23, at the Rockingham County School Board office.
