HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — The Rockingham-Harrisonburg SPCA will be holding an adoption event tomorrow, Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the PetSmart located at 1671 E. Market Street in Harrisonburg.

The RHSPCA is aiming for 25 adoptions this weekend. Director of Development Sara Stone said every animal who goes home makes room for another who needs shelter and care.

“Our partnership with PetSmart creates more opportunities for animals to find families and for our community to connect with pets awaiting adoption,” said Stone.

Kitten adoptions are buy one get one and 50% of adoption fees covered for dogs on site, including Romeo.
