HARRISONBURG VA: (Rocktown Now) – A few showers and thunderstorms will be possible today, mainly during the mid part of the day. A few thunderstorms could reach strong to severe levels. The National Weather Service indicates a strong to severe thunderstorm or two could produce locally damaging wind gusts this afternoon across the central Shenandoah Valley into the central Virginia piedmont.
Cooler and less humid weather is expected for Monday ahead of another threat for showers and thunderstorms the later half of the week.
