Harrisonburg police seeking suspect in armed robbery of Tobacco Hut

In a social media post from HPD, the male was described as a white male, approximately 5’8″ tall with a medium build. He was reportedly wearing a red and black sweatshirt, black pants and “Furry Uggs” boots.

RCPS Board votes to pull ‘Allegedly’ and ‘Looking for Alaska’ from school libraries

At their meeting Monday night, the Rockingham County School Board voted 4-1 to remove ‘Allegedly,’ by Tiffany Jackson, countering the recommendation from Superintendent Dr. Larry Shifflett’s content review committee to retain the book. Board member Jackie Lohr cast the lone dissenting vote.

Weekend fire destroys Augusta County barn
