Youngkin announced Thursday that the Virginia Homeland Security Task Force (VHSTF) surpassed 2,500 arrests as of July 1, 2025.

According to online records, John Wesley Whitaker Junior pleaded guilty to a pair of amended misdemeanor charges during a hearing Wednesday afternoon in General District Court. A judge then sentenced him to 24 months in prison with 22 of those months suspended.
