The survey got more than 23-hundred responses, which were presented at Monday night’s school board meeting. According to School Superintendent Dr. Larry Shifflett, the community noted school safety and academic excellence as the division’s highest priorities.

The resolution recognizes the rights of school employees to organize, form, join or assist an employee association, as well as to engage in collective bargaining on issues related to wages, hours, benefits, safety, and other employment conditions.
