WAYNESBORO, VA (Rocktown Now) — A Waynesboro man is in custody following a multi-month investigation into child pornography-related allegations.
Back in February, Captain Benjamin Lemons says authorities began investigating a report that Christopher Daniel Wilson was in possession of child pornography.
“Over the following months, detectives conducted a thorough investigation, eventually recovering multiple items of evidence from a residence in the 500 block of Arch Avenue. On May 4, 2026, detectives presented the findings of the case to a Waynesboro Grand Jury,” Lemons added.
As a result, the 37-year-old Wilson was charged with four felony counts of Knowingly Possessing Child Pornography and Second or Subsequent Offense.
On Wednesday of this week, Wilson turned himself in to the Waynesboro Police Department and is currently being held without bond at the Middle River Regional Jail.
