HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — The Little Grill will host Cecilia, a trio from Quebec, on Thursday, October 15. Doors open at 5:30 PM and the music begins at 7 PM.

Cecilia is Timi Turmel, a three-time Quebec champion on the one-row accordion, Erin Leahy, a member of the internationally acclaimed, award-winning Celtic group “Leahy” on keyboards, and award-winning traditional fiddler, Courtney Drew. Their sound blends traditional, Celtic, and Quebecois music.

Little Grill owners Ron and Melaine Copeland first saw the group at last year’s Richmond International Folk Festival. They reportedly left impressed by the music and the energy that came with it. Ron caught three shows in one weekend and made a promise along the way.

“They were so full of joy, I just wanted to be wherever they were,” said Ron Copeland. “I vowed to get them to Harrisonburg.”

Ticket holders are encouraged to arrive when doors open at 5:30 PM.
