STAUNTON, VA (Rocktown Now) — Spring paving season is in full swing in Staunton, with work planned for numerous streets throughout the city over the next couple of months.

While specific timing is subject to change due to weather and operational delays, crews are beginning milling and repaving operations in the northwest portion of Staunton near Ellendin Avenue, Audubon Street, and Hudson Avenue.

Streets are chosen for repaving based on pavement condition, time since last resurfacing, and coordination with planned utility work.

Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes, allow extra travel time, and to use caution traveling through detours and work zones.
