ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — Anthony Eugene Robinson has been sentenced to two life sentences plus 10 years and approximately $205,000 in fines in Rockingham County Circuit Court today, May 22, 2026.

Robinson had been found guilty by a jury back in January 2025 in connection with the deaths of two women, whose bodies were found in a shopping cart off of Linda Lane in Harrisonburg back in November of 2021. The jury deliberated for less than an hour.

Robinson had been found guilty of the following:

  • Two counts of first-degree murder
  • Two counts of concealing a body
  • Two counts of aggravated murder

The jury recommended 4 life counts plus 10 years, and a $400,000 fine.

The public defender’s office plans to appeal the case.
